I was the SVP Publisher of Harper Perennial, where I watched after countless authors, including classics, new writers and notable names. I also co-founded It Books, an imprint dedicated to pop-culture, fashion, film, music and celebrity. In the imprint\u2019s first 18 months, It Books boasted 13 New York Times bestsellers, including two #1 titles.<\/p><p>I\u2019ve taught at NYU as well as spoken at numerous writer\u2019s conferences, and I am always happy to speak to writers at conferences, classrooms and festivals. I also co-founded the independent bookstore\/bar The Society Club, which is sadly no more. But we had a good run.
